About the Harvard Black Alumni Society of New York

The Harvard Black Alumni Society, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization, founded with a mission to support Harvard’s Black alumni professionally, socially and intellectually.  The Harvard Black Alumni Society is also a recognized Shared Interest Group (SIG) of the Harvard Alumni Association.  With such a critical mass of alumni living in New York City, HBASNY has become one of the Harvard Black Alumni Society's leading chapters -- hosting a number of networking events, panels, receptions and dinners, all designed to promote fellowship and development amongst our membership.  In addition, HBASNY promotes and provides a forum for a wide range of African American issues, bringing them to the attention of the greater Harvard community and beyond.
